Wrote this in my green book a few nights ago while trying to fall asleep in my rack. I'm actually in a much better mood now, just wanted to document it here.

Never in my life have I felt as alone as I feel in this moment. I'm pressed against the cool, uninviting metal of my
quaint, dimly-lit home and I can’t help imagining my self as a jack-in-the-box. While I listen to the faint breathing of those nearby, I realize this family of mine is no family, but a group able to relate on no other level than shared misery. Why is it I want so desperately to impress those imprisoned with me? Maybe if I do, one may take the time to understand that what fuels me is not insanity, but fear. It’s the same reason I force a laugh when my throat tightens and my eyes moisten. As badly as I want to release what makes me sick, I want worse to hide it from those who would do me harm. So I’m always happy. And when it’s raining in my heart, I’m happy. When my head spins in the destructive fashion of a tornado, I’m happy. To be completely honest, I’m far passed happy. I’m fully obliged to smile.

Yeah it's been forever and a half since I've posted here, eh? Not much to update about...
A couple things...
I'm in Pensacola for school. It's boring as fuck, but whatever. I'll leave this place in January. I don't know where I'm going yet but the suspense is killing me.
Ummmm... good news.
I met someone! It isn't serious, but we'll see what happens! :)
Uhhh.... ... ... Wow.. Aside from making new friends, my life has been beyond boring lately. I spend sooooOOOOOOoooOoo much time studying its ridiculous. I don't even really have time to draw! :(

Okay, so it's been a while since I've updated. I've been busy. I found out I got my school date. I've been checking out, working on my transfer package, my eval, and packing since then. I'm leaving October 20th for Pensacola (a 5 hour drive,) and starting school on the 22nd. IT isn't the school I wanted, but I like it better than working on the flight deck. I got really bored and decided to make a photographic documentation of my living quarters on this base. I'm going to share this boring shit with you, but I'll put it behind a cut so you don't have to look at my barracks room if you don't want to. ( Hmmm... )

I've been feeling pretty shitty lately.
Feels like my stomach is inside-out and made of pure bubbles.
Despite the fact that I feel like crap, I babysat for Debbie again today. She's going through a hard custody battle, and don't mind her kids at all.
They're (usually) a pretty good bunch.
Except tonight. They would not mind me and decided to act like a bunch of hyperactive screamers.
Oh well. :D
I have good news! I was accepted into the IT school. This means I'll be going to Pensacola soon. The command tells me I'll be around for another two months, but it'd be nice to get outta here sooner than that. If it doesn't work out that way, I'll live. It will give me more time to work on the IT modules so I don't go to school completely clueless.
:d I'm so glad I'll get to see him next weekend. It's kinda lonely without him.

Just made a five hour drive. I'm so exhausted and so hungry, yet my stomach hurts too much to eat, and I feel to wired to fall asleep. Guess I'll doodle for a while until I feel more sleepy.
I'm glad to be back in my own room, but I am still sad.
I can't believe I have work again in a few hours. BLAH, not so sure I want to go. It's not like I have a lot of hard work ahead of me. On the contrary, I have next to nothing to do. I'll find something to keep myself occupied.
Have you ever bought a book that sounds interesting, one you want to read badly, yet when you pick it up, you can't find yourself getting into it? Yeah... That's me right now.
I've had this picture of a goblin stuck in my head for about two weeks. I might try and draw it! We'll see how well I can draw one!

Today I finished a mural I've been working on for the Command Master Chief of the base. It's a Disney-style duck in pilot's gear with a warfare medal behind his back. It's the base logo, but I had to take this tiny picture and blow it up to the size of a wall. I don't have my camera right now, but I'll post pics of it when I get it back this weekend.
It took me 2 hours to draw it on the wall in pencil/sharpie. It took me 5 hours to put down the base colors the first day. The second day of painting (which was today) was hell. I had a normal work day from 0800-1600, then I went to the cpo's club and painted the mural for 7 hours. Needless to say, I'm exhausted. BUT I got it done! It looks pretty nifty.
Only thing I wish I had done better was the lettering, but everyone who drinks there said it looks fine. I only have 4 training jackets to convert. THANK GOD. That crap is redundant. I'm going to work on a bunch of images for the Q/A inspection for work. The second my command found out I do art, they suddenly need me to do flyers and computer graphics. Maybe one day I'll post the military challenge coin I designed. I'll also take a photo of the actual coin for a comparison. they used my design but they took liberty with a few aspects of it. I decided that since I will be mentioning people from work in here and nobody is gonna know who the fuck I'm talking about, I'l gonna put the name I refer to them as and a short description. Putting it under a cut because it is a long list. :D It's not that I expect people to read it, it's just that some day when you see me mention someone, I'll link their name to their desc so you can go, "Ok I don't give a fuck." I work with a very strange lot.

Boring day today. I honestly didn't accomplish much, but I did at least get some work done. Been updating the training jackets at work and now only have a dozen left to go! Woo!!
I worked out with Serena and helped her bathe her dog after work. Hahaha what a strange thing to do with a friend. "Let's bathe the dog!!"
I found superfood at the commissary today and was THRILLED! I can't believe they sell it there. No cheaper than normal, but that's ok! It's superfood!!! How awesome! I am, of course, referring to Odwalla's "Superfood" smoothie drink. It's this nasty green color but is surprisingly sweet. It looks gross because it has spirulina in it, which is basically a good-for-you bacteria (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spirulina_%28dietary_supplement%29)
I wish people didn't look at me funny just because I'm drinking an awkward green drink. People are SO bent up over what their food LOOKS like that it doesn't matter if it's yummy OR healthy (which it is!!) Give it a try!

Alllllrighty, been a while eh?
I've been dog/house-sitting for a co-worker, Joe. I find this to be a great relief from my new roommate, even though I need to return to her on wednesday. Don't get me wrong, she's pretty nice and very down to earth, but seriously...
So far she's really only done two things to REALLy piss me off.
Let me start by saying how the room is set up. There are two beds (on opposite walls,) two standing lockers, and two media-lockers and a bathroom (standing shower only.)
Yes folks, we SHARE the room.
We have been on opposite shifts lately. I have the days and she has the mids. When I get up in the morning, I go out of my way not to disturb her. I get ready in the dark (using a dull flashlight if I NEED to,) I remain as quiet as I can, and I try to get ready for work quickly, as to not be a burden on her sleeping hours. OKAY, let's turn it around. I had about another hour and a half before I'd have to get up for work. Now an hour and a half isn't like it's 3 AM. It's closer to 6 AM. Seriously, that's an hour and a half I'd like to keep! NOW, it's an hour and a half before I have to get up, and she comes home from work. She not only turns on the light, she turns on both the overhead (FLUORESCENT) light AND her bedside lamp. She then proceeds to noisily dig through the fridge and microwave herself something to eat. She sits there on her bed and eats, and watches television. ... Yes, folks, that said television.
Now the most recent thing she did was shower. I know what you're thinking, guys! Everybody should shower! Well let's see. She know what time I get up in the morning to shower (because half the time I get up she hasn't gone to bet yet anyway.) When I woke up a few mornings ago, she was in the shower. No big del, I think, until 45 minutes go by and I realize that she's given me 15 minutes to shower and get out the door. I then hear the shower turn off. Oh good I can get in a quick shower! Ooooor not. She stays in there for about 8 minutes "doin her thang." I now have 7 minutes to be showered and out the door. She minute she gets out, I run in there and take a boot camp style quick shower, get dressed as fast as I can, and run out the door. I was still on time for work, but really... is a 45 minute shower really necessary? In fact it was over 45 minutes because she was already in the shower when I woke up!
...sigh...
Not to mention she is messy and she leaves her hair all over the bathroom. Ah, but she does take out the trash! Awesome, what a huge contribution to the room!
